I'm Sander Brokelman, a web enthusiast with a love for creative coding. My journey began when my dad and I built websites for my hobbies. Today, I've combined work and studies at Philips VitalHealth and consulted at Luminis. I've worked with technologies like CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Svelte, and more.
Let's create something amazing together!

The InfectionApp is used to investigate infectious diseases in children. Using the app, parents can keep symptom diaries for their children. In these diaries they indicate which symptoms they recognize in their child and on which days the child suffers from these. The app has been developed in such a way that it can be widely used in the future for other purposes in both medical care and scientific research.
The participating traveler is asked to register via a mobile application (ZIeKA monitor) during the trip whether there are complaints and symptoms that indicate a mosquito-borne infection.
Commissioned by WKZ/UMC Utrecht, a portal has been developed for parents of children with respiratory complaints where questionnaires are completed and the results are processed in SPSS.
This app is built with Xamarin and contains functionalities such as taking questionnaires and entering measurement values that can be seen in graphs. New versions of the app are automatically put on Google Play and Apple's App Store using Azure DevOps.
Koppeltaal is an initiative of the sector to liberate and connect in the interest of the patient, the practitioner and the management of the organization. In 2013, several mental health care institutions took a decision. They wanted to be able to freely choose the best of breed e-health interventions without having to make loose links again and again. And they wanted to free their clients and practitioners from the silos of systems. That is why they decided to set up the Koppeltaal Foundation. In 2015, the decision resulted in Koppeltaal, a proven integration and information standard that is based on national and international standards (HL7 FHIR). The use of the standard has led to real-time modular links between applications, systems and platforms. The practitioner and client need it for optimal care.
The optometry product by VitalHealth received a major platform update where the entire styling had to be converted to XML and SCSS and elements had to be fixed with JavaScript.
